Araby Today

In 2004 I purchased  the then puppy bitch, Ch Draco on Fire at Araby, “Fuego” from Efren Soto and Jorge Pinzon of Draco Boxers.  My success with Fuego has lead to a 2008 collaboration with Efren under his new kennel prefix of Esoto & Araby.

The offspring of Fuego and Ch MGM’s Man For All Seasons are now in both the US and Mexico being shown - Araby High Tops, GCHAraby High Life, Araby High Times, and Mex CH Araby High Falutin TT.

Efren Soto (shown opposite) was the founder of Draco Boxers in his native Venezuela.  He moved his operation to Mexico where he is one of that country’s most successful up and coming chefs de cuisine.

The Draco/Esoto lines are linebred back to Shortstop through Ch Bropat’s Red Alert of Asgard SOM and his descendants, Int. CH Draco Bad Boy and CH Cayman's Black Bark SOM. Also important are the bitch lines behind the Strawberry dogs that descend from Indian Bend bitches that were Shortstop daughters or closely related to the old Von Schorer dogs common to both pedigrees.

It is our firm belief and hope that this combination of old lines integrated with other successful bloodlines of similar breed type will continue to result in  Boxers of correct type, style and movement as represented by the great sires and dams of the 1970’s and 80’s. We invite you to view this site and Esoto Boxers to see our dogs.

Hopewell Run Farm, the home of Araby Boxers, is also home to The Kennels at Hopewell Run Farm, a boarding operation that began in 2008.

This site will feature constant updates on the Araby and Esoto Boxers.
