Life at Araby
Araby Boxers is located at Hopewell Run Farm in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia. The farmhouse was built in 1880 on a parcel of the historic Bower Plantation, a site famous as the ancestral home of the Dandridge family, of which Martha Dandridge Custis Washington was a notable member. It was also a well known Civil War site and the birth place of General Robert E. Lee's second favorite horse, after Traveler, the red mare Lucy Long. Our Boxers enjoy running the spacious property with its swift running stream, from which the farm takes it's name, "Hopewell Run". They split their time between the house and the kennel which was constructed in 2005. In 2008 the kennel opened for boarders as well. Please enjoy the candid photos of some of our dogs past and present as they live and play here at Hopewell Run Farm.
